Gift Guide for 6 Year Olds

Six year olds are awesome, and I’ve gathered awesome toys to support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Although they are becoming more independent, they crave your companionship and are developing more understanding towards other’s feelings. Many of these games and activities can be enjoyed together. You’ll also notice I included some opportunities to strengthen gross motor skills and coordination, which actually help students in reading. At this age, it’s important we continue reading with our child, even though they may be learning how to read on their own. Both are valuable!
