What's In My Diaper Bag?

Sunny Seed Co Diaper Bag Essentials

Admittedly, I’m an over packer. I always need to be prepared, especially with kids, but I personally hate the look of big, bulky diaper bags. I’ve tried several over the years and this Mina Baie Kinney diaper bag is my absolute favorite. It fits my style and doesn’t make me feel like a total frumpy mom (no offense), is comfortable, easy to clean (vegan leather), and keeps everything organized. I'm currently using their regular Mina Baie size, but once we are out of the newborn stage, I’ll downsize to their Mini Kinney. For reference, I'm only 5'1"

This is what I use with two little ones, Mackenzie (28 months) and Olivia (1 month).

CleanWell Hand Sanitizer

Natural Hand Sanitizing Wipes or Handzies

Wild Bird Ring Sling - (Roseate Modal fabric) I love to wear my babies and have all sorts of carriers, but this one rolls up so nicely and is very easy to throw on and off. It's especially soft for newborns and I like that it's not crazy bulky in the scorching Alabama summer heat.

Water Wipes - made with 99.9% water. I’ve tried other nontoxic brands, but these are the most wet and easy to use.

Honest Diaper & Dyper - Have you checked out my nontoxic diaper post? These two brands are my favorite when it comes to safety and performance.

Bumkins Smock - These are probably our most used baby products. We've been using during meal times and messy play since Mackenzie was six months old. They are nontoxic, machine washable, and save all of her clothes from getting stained.

Crayons

Post-Its

Tiny board book

Blank notecards

Even with all of this, I feel like I have plenty of room in the bag and can find everything easily.

Car Essentials

Oxo Tot Portable Potty. This is a MUST. The legs kick out to stand up. We layer two shopping bags (in case there is a hole in one), but you can also purchase special bags on Amazon.

Healthy Human - 40 oz stainless steel water bottle because I always have to have water, especially in case of an emergency, but I don't like the idea of hot plastic bottles in the car. I've had this water bottle since my early teaching days and it is still going strong.

Primally Pure Natural Spray - the best nontoxic bug spray I've found

Branch Basics Travel Kit - you can clean anything and everything with this nontoxic concentrate. Their travel kit comes with a tiny bottle of hand soap, all-purpose spray, and concentrate. It's especially helpful for treating stains.

There you have it, friends! I hope that was helpful.
